GENDER EQUALITY

29 June, 2011 — Hanoi, Vietnam — A female worker’s hands making briquette: Women are paid considerably less than men. Women earn 50% of what men earn for the same work. When women work, they usually have fewer opportunities than men to work in the industry and services sectors.
